Larry Hardy - Project Manager

Hello there.... I've been in the scaffolding business for over 44 years. I started out in the scaffolding industry at the very young age of 17 as a member of the Carpenters local in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. From the start, I knew this was my dream job. I enjoyed building things and designing the best way to accomplish the task set before me. I have taught scaffold classes throughout the United States, scheduled and coordinated major outages, both in the Nuclear, Cogen and Industrial settings. I have performed work at Stennis Space Center on the expansion of two of the larger test platforms.

Hello... I've been working in the scaffolding industry for the past 11 years. I started working with Larry Hardy at Stennis Space Center in Kiln, MS. I look forward to meeting you and helping with any of your scaffolding, shoring or rental needs.
MI Equipment Rental
MI Equipment Rental is a female owned business with a branch located in Pearland, TX. Our Robert, LA office was established in 2020, during the COVID outbreak.
Though primarily a rental company that offers mobile equipment, air tools, gas/diesel tools and manual tools (to help assist you on any residential, commercial, and/or industrial job), we are also an access company that supplies and performs scaffold access, swing stages and shoring scaffolding (soft skill company).

We at MI Equipment Rentals are dedicated in providing the best customer services, equipment and experience in the industry to each and everyone of our customers.

We are up to date with all OSHA standards, which assures you that when we perform work on your projects they too will meet and exceed these standards. This gives you the peace of mind to focus on the project.

Relationships
We have several customers that we have been working with for over 10 years. Many of them started out requesting a quote but once the relationship was established, we have been asked to handle upwards of 10 to 20 jobs for the same project. A couple of them were multi million dollar projects. Our work speaks for itself!
Experience
Our parent company in Pearland, TX has been in the business of renting construction equipment for several years. Here at MI Equipment Rental, we pride ourselves on having well maintained operating equipment which helps provide the ultimate efficiencies when executing projects. We are always adding to our inventory per our customers needs.
With over 94 years experience, between the 2 offices, in the scaffolding industry and knowledge in access and industrial equipment, we are able to assist our customers with scaffold configurations, estimating, managing, erections, problem solving, planning and scheduling all in the industrial, commercial and nuclear industries. We supply both scaffold labor and scaffold equipment rental in system, frame and some tube and clamp scaffolding.

We Are Going Places
Come with me now for a little history lesson... during the time that COVID was wrecking havoc on the world, the circumstances dictated that only essential businesses were allowed to operate, hence the need for the Robert, LA office to open up. Since our parent company was in Pearland, TX and travel was all but shut down, the need for a local office was addressed. We opened our doors in November 2020. We started out small and with a lot of hard work and dedication have grown into the office we are today.
